Job Title: Director of Private Equity Administration
Location: Dallas, Texas
Company background: A Financial Services organization based in USA that provides tailored fund solutions for private equity, hedge funds, family offices, and alternative asset management firms across the globe.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 Manage and continuously improve the fund administration infrastructure
 Maintain and manage multiple client relationships
 Manage and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables
 Serve as mentor to their team through training, development and oversight of daily activities
 Manage relationships with third-party service providers and vendors to ensure ex*****on of duties to the highest standard.
 Design and implement workflow and controls to improve efficiency and mitigate risk
 Participate in developing policy and procedure framework for managing a growing business
 Assess and effectively manage all the risks associated with the team’s and firm’s business objectives
 Implement process for tracking metrics and key performance indicators
 Up to 10% travel may be required

EDUCATION/ACCREDITATION

 Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, finance or other related field
 CPA license is strongly preferred

SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

 Eight years of experience in fund operations and/or fund accounting
 Experience managing a team of accountants
 FIS Investran experience is a plus
 Advanced knowledge of US GAAP required, IFRS experience is a plus
 Strong analytical skills and experience with calculating performance analytics, producing / facilitating client reporting
 Demonstrated ability to identify risks and control gaps in processes and successfully delivering process improvement
 Understanding of private fund offering docs and the intricacies of private equity funds
 Ability to drive the implementation of new technology
 Strong relationship building skills; ability to partner across the organization to execute strategic goals
 Strong organizational skills with attention to deadlines
 Passion for delivering an exceptional client experience
 Advanced proficiency in MS Excel

Job Title: Office Head - Dallas
Location: Dallas, Texas

Role Description

Lead the local Dallas office, ensuring collaboration with wider
stakeholders from the group, such as Regional Heads and Business and Product Development teams, to capitalize on commercial growth opportunities for the location.

Responsibilities:

1) Financial Performance

■ Take accountability and responsibility for the top line growth and
margin improvement of the Dallas office by achieving the financial
■ targets set by the group for the location. Ensure all operational activity associated with the working capital cycle is pro-actively managed.
■ Own quarterly evaluation of client engagements - pricing, scope of services in comparison to the SOW and margins. Collaborate with Directors to achieve desired staffing and profitability.

2) Operational

■ Enhance client experience through operational excellence, data and technology, ensuring that efficiencies are achieved and maintained by adopting, implementing and embedding the operational frameworks set by the group.
■ Actively evaluate business development pipeline and compare to
staffing capacity across pods and divisions. Drive alignment among the sales team, the recruiting team and Directors to ensure proper staffing levels and engagement support.
■ Actively participate in succession planning, talent and performance management for local management.
■ Deliver a zero-tolerance approach to non-adherence and completion of tasks and regulatory commitments, such as Console actions, KYC, periodic reviews, investor remediation, timesheets, billing and so on.
■ Work closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the entity
operates in line with local regulations. This includes a fit for purpose compliance function, corporate governance requirements, AML policies and procedures and outsourcing.
■ Encourage the team to make “everyday count” and take pride in their work, always acting with professionalism and integrity, whilst having excellent client service at the forefront of their mind.

Job Title: Manager - Fund Controller
Location: New York

Role & Key responsibilities:

• Fund and Investor Accounting:
- Prepare work paper files including investment activity, management fee calculations, IRR calculation, unrealized/realized waterfall calculations, etc.
- Review fund reimbursable expenses
- Prepare capital call and distribution calculations, sources/uses of cash, allocations, and investor notices
- Prepare fund financial statements with footnotes and supporting schedules
- Prepare partner allocations and capital account statements
- Understand/review of LPAs, purchase/sales agreement, side letters, etc.
- Coordinate and support the audit for both SSAE 16 audit and fund audit
- Support the tax team with information to prepare tax compliance/reports
- Assist with other regulatory reporting
- Responsible for investor and partner queries (i.e. audit confirmation, investor cash flow, IRR analysis, etc.)

• Cash Management and Operations:
- Facilitate and monitor cash movements
- Prepare funding memos for investment purchase, fund expense payment, etc.
- Conduct cash forecasting and budgeting
- Responsible for bank and brokerage reconciliations
- Assist with Ad hoc financial analysis for client
- Assist with credit facility drawdowns for the fund
- Coordinate with investor services team

• Portfolio Accounting:
- Track portfolio company transactions (purchases, income, liquidity)
- Understand complex investment structures (hold co's blockers, tax withholding, etc.)
- Calculate investment IRR
- Accounting for holding companies and blocker entities

Requirements:

• 6-10 years of professional experience (A mix of private and audit preferred)
• Minimum 3-6 years of direct Private Equity experience (Hedge Funds do not count as relevant experience)
• CPA Preferred
• Strong Fund and Partner accounting knowledge
• Credit funds exposure
• Portfolio accounting, complex investment structures preferred
• Supervisory experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly motivated with ability to multitask

Special Skills:

• Experience in fund accounting with a focus on private equity experience
• Knowledge with LPA or other governing documents
• Experience with waterfall calculations
• Basic knowledge of Level 3 valuation methodologies
• Experience with audit process, including internal control and test of details
• Knowledge of US GAAP with an emphasis on investment partnerships
