We are having a Pujo fair / mela at H 1523, Chittaranjan Park, on the 2nd of October 2024. From 2 pm to 7 pm.

You will find sarees, bags, vintage, niche products, handmade models, preserved flowers in frames, jewellery, designer dresses/ attires - curated just for you, along with some of our home made food.

Join us. Come over to spend the day with us. Over some drums and music and pujo, pujo adda.

We promise to pack some smiles and some "anondo" ( happiness) for you. 😍😍

Ghar e ghar e ektu ghurey dekhbey ?
Tomar choron er dhulow shob ghar e dio, Maa.
Amar Rannaghar e kintu nishchoi dhukow... Ektu ashirbaad koro.
Tumi je Annapurna. Tomar chowa tei shob amritow hoye jabe.
Ektu shamanyo Thowr korechi. Pasher barir gaacher thowr. Sada bhaat diye thowr ta boro bhalo lagey.
Achha, aaj kintu ektu aamish korechi.
Ilish maach bhapa. Aar ektu dim er curry. Halka korei korlam. Shob bondhu ra khabe, dekhi ki boley.
Aar ache Oii amar Green Biryani. Ektu takiye dekho Maa... Tomar oii snighdhow, shanto najar e ...swad e bhorey jaabey shob khabar. 😍

Ki khabe bolo ?
Gobindobhog chaaler bhaath korechi. Barite banano shundor ektu ghee debo paatey.
Shona moonger dal. Gol gol begun bhaja.
Ki je bhalo laagbey... Dekho.
Tarkari o ache kichu. Eta ota. Beshi kichu korini kintu.
Ekta Bhindi korechi, shorshey diye. Duto knacha lonka betey dilam...taar sathe. Jhaal holo bodhhoy, ki jani. 😓

Baati o jelechi Maa.
Ranna o boshabo ebar... luchi aar shada aloor tarkari.
Aar Paayesh ? Paayesh khabey toh ?
Laddoo ta tumi nijey banio Maa. Tomar haather mishti khabow, amra shobai.
Tumi toh Annapurna.
Maa go ...Shaakh bajalam. Prodip jalalam. Gaan shunchi... Durey dhaak bajchey... Mone hochhey.

This Sunday our home smelled good. Of cinnamon and roses, of spices and chillis, of old stories and newly cooked ones, of verandahs and softly swaying bells. Of food and food talk...
And the Sun was in such a good mood !! It tangoed with the wind to some music of adda and laughter that came from our home.
Our Sunday lunch...Where we had invited some mindblowing chefs and entrepreneurs, food lovers and basically, people with amazingly good energy. 🥰



They brought in a flowy, happy ease... talked and asked about our food and hosting.
What struck me was their simplicity, in asking whether I needed help in the kitchen to giving me tips about this and that. To being extremely kind and generous with their words of appreciation about the food and our home !
Infact, their posts on social media left me speechless, literally. 😍
Nothing can match the overwhelming emotions a few words can usher in... And with their words, they did just that. 💜
Along with them, cannot miss my fantastic friends Nitika and Vikram, who helped me with almost everything!! And, helped keep my nerves intact, since I was quite nervous for some reason.
Ajitesh for being my constant. Always !!
Marissa for being so friendly, sweet and appreciative !!

Teaming up with my Capoeira family this time.
When my Capoeira coach asked me, to put up a pop up at his jazzy studio, I was over the moon.
To have my food pop up around all that dancing, music and crazy cool energy is literally my soul food.
"Capoeira" is something I adore. A Brazilian martial arts.
It is therapy, exercise, music, dance, good vibrant energy and a magical vibe...all rolled into one. Come over, to find out more !! 🤩

When your friends book a dinner... Where you are actually hosting, the first one, after aeons !! That too, on a cold, cold winter's night.

And they come with some good ol' adda, unfettered giggles, easy banter, cakes and flowers, sweet, encouraging words and warm, warm hugs... !!

And,.. your home ends up dazzling with a soft glow ...like the mishti sunshine that winter mornings have... !!

That is when you realize that, it's because of all these beautiful people who carry ... sunshine in their souls.
That is why, our home simply lit up ! ❤️

That is why, life smells good... these days.
It does... !! 😌

An evening with our first "A Pinch Of B**g" special dinner this year.
We served a spread of some home cooked delicacies, some old, some ordinary and some playful !! And our sunny friends warmed us up with their kind, generosity of appreciation !! So happy to start our lunches and dinners, this year, with ... good friends. 🥰❤️
