in northern Pakistan, initial reports say it had a magnitude of 7.7; we felt it quite strongly here in Delhi, people all over Shahpur Jat left their houses and stood on the street. Nobody got hurt as far as we can tell.

Yesterday two elephants passed through the tiny lane next to our office - twice. Why? They got stuck between two buildings because they couldn't get past the power cables which were just hanging across the lane between them. Luckily an elephant always remembers. Also the way back, it seems.

Yesterday the exhibition "Nie wieder Atomtests! - Deutschland und der Teststoppvertrag" about the CTBT (Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty / Teststoppvertrag für Atomwaffen) opened in the "Lichthof" of the Foreign Ministry in Berlin. We are proud to have conceptualized and implemented this exhibition for them. Go check it out if you are in Berlin, it's open to the public until 15th of October, 2015. Adress is Werderscher Markt 1 in 10117 Berlin, and the entry is free.

It's so interesting how differently the taxi-app uber is treated in Germany and in India. The Delhi High Court yesterday said about a ban (that the company doesn't follow anyways): How can you stall someone like this.

In Germany, on the other hand, Uber is just about to change its whole business model, mostly because of looming charges of a quarter million Euros per ride conducted against regulations.

Uber India Technology Pvt Ltd's had filed a plea in the high court that a June 3 order rejecting its licence application be quashed.

This team of Indian students totally rocked it. They created a plane that generates power by wing vibrations and got invited to travel to Hamburg, Germany, to make their case for the top prize to Airbus!! Congrats!

A team of Indian students, spread across four countries in three continents, have jointly created the world's first airplane that generates its own power by the vibration of its wings.
