Independence Day Celebration at KMA

The Kerala Management Association (KMA) celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with pride and patriotism at Management House.

KMA President, Mr. Algiers Khalid, hoisted the National Flag, marking the occasion with a renewed commitment to the values of freedom, unity and nation-building.

The celebration brought together the spirit of “Nation First”, honouring the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and celebrating the progress of our great nation.

The Kerala Management Association (KMA) has launched an inspiring new initiative, “Learn from the Leaders” — a podcast series featuring insightful conversations with accomplished leaders from diverse walks of life.

The inaugural episode featured Mr. Aju Jacob, Managing Director, Synthite Group, in conversation with Dr. K. N. Raghavan, IRS, who moderates the series. The discussion offered valuable perspectives on leadership, business, experiences and lessons from the journey of a successful leader.

Mr. Aju Jacob was welcomed by Mr. Algiers Khalid, President, KMA; Ms. Lekha Balachandran, Honorary Secretary; and Dr. K. N. Raghavan, Chair of the programme.

With Learn from the Leaders, KMA aims to bring the wisdom, experiences and insights of remarkable leaders closer to its members and the wider management community.

Kerala Management Association is proud to announce the launch of our MSME Committee's activities for the year 2026-27!

MSMEs are the backbone of our economy, contributing significantly to employment, exports, and grassroots innovation. Yet, many enterprises in this sector face challenges not from lack of ideas or effort, but from gaps in structured management practices, be it in finance, operations, marketing, or people management. Strong management practices help MSMEs scale sustainably, adapt to market shifts, and compete effectively in an increasingly dynamic business environment. Through this year's initiatives, we aim to bridge that gap.

Join us as we kick off a year's activities dedicated to empowering the MSME ecosystem and listen to senior State & Central government officials.
