After thirty-three year long service in the banking sector I have been enjoying my retired life with my family and grandchildren since January 2019.
Right from my college days I was passionate about cooking, baking and gardening. Even though my official work was demanding I loved to cook for my kids back then. Their all time favourite, my signature dishes according to them are chicken cutlets, appam and stew, cake and wine. Though I have given up baking I still prepare the rest whenever my kids come home for vacation. Even when exposed to various cuisines and varieties of food available in Delhi and Mumbai my daughter and son as soon they decide to come home even for a short break calls me and gives me a list of what they want me to make for them. I do cook for them and spent ample time with them now and I am catching upon my time lost when they were young.
Both my children have been pushing me to be an entrepreneur of some sort giving me ideas of marketing my products be it the food and wine I make or the wide variety of plants I have at my home. Having spent considerable part of my official life in the managerial role my kids believe that I have it in me to make it work. After discussing it a lot I concluded that I would also love to start my own initiative.
Hence I started this FB Page where I would be able to update the things I plan to do be it the sale of extra plants I have at home or the sale of the food I cook...
