Rock Beach is one of Puducherry’s busiest public and tourist spaces. This incident raises an important question:
Are electrical installations and public infrastructure being inspected and maintained regularly?
Why does action often seem to happen only after an issue is highlighted on social media?
Instead of waiting for a serious incident to happen, shouldn’t potential safety risks be identified and addressed before they become a danger to the public?
Do authorities need to wait until an issue reaches social media to take action?
