A Genuine Buyer Shouldn't Be Punished for Someone Else's Mistake.

Aapne:
✔ GST registered supplier se purchase kiya.
✔ Goods receive kiye.
✔ GST ke saath poora payment kiya.
✔ Invoice GSTR-2B me reflect ho raha hai.

Phir bhi agar supplier GST deposit na kare, to kya aapka ITC deny hona chahiye?

Reportedly, GST Council ki Law Committee ne ek proposal approve kiya hai jiske tahat, agar recipient invoice ki reflection aur GST payment prove kar deta hai, to recovery purchaser ki jagah defaulting supplier se ki ja sakti hai.

Agar GST Council is proposal ko approve karti hai, to ye bona fide taxpayers ke liye ek landmark reform ho sakta hai.

Aapka kya maanna hai?

Kya genuine buyer ka ITC supplier ki galti ki wajah se deny hona chahiye, ya recovery actual defaulter se honi chahiye?

E-Way Bill generate karna hi ab kaafi nahi hai...

Ab GSTN ne E-Way Bill Closure ka naya feature bhi introduce kiya hai.

Is update ke baad delivery complete hone par E-Way Bill voluntarily close kiya ja sakta hai by:

✔ Supplier
✔ Recipient
✔ Transporter
✔ Driver / Authorized Person

Ye facility goods movement ki better tracking aur system-based validation ke liye introduce ki gayi hai.

Important Update:

📌 GSTN ne implementation timeline extend kar di hai.

📌 Ye changes ab 1 August 2026 se portal par live honge.

📌 Abhi E-Way Bill Closure facility voluntary nature ki hai.

Business ya Professional Income hai?

Sabse pehle ye samajhiye ki aap ITR-3 file karenge ya ITR-4.

✅ ITR-4 (Sugam) generally un taxpayers ke liye hai jo Presumptive Taxation Scheme opt karte hain:

• Business under Section 44AD
• Professionals under Section 44ADA
• Transporters under Section 44AE

Yani income prescribed percentage ke basis par declare ki ja rahi hai.

✅ ITR-3 generally applicable hota hai agar:

• Business income actual books ke basis par compute ho rahi hai
• Professional income books of accounts ke basis par hai
• F&O Trading Income hai
• Intraday Trading Income hai
• Presumptive scheme opt nahi ki gayi hai

Simple Rule:

Presumptive Taxation → Usually ITR-4

Books of Accounts + Actual Profit + Trading Income → Usually ITR-3

⚠️ Ek hi profession ke do log alag ITR forms file kar sakte hain. Difference profession nahi, income computation method ka hota hai.

ITR-1 ya ITR-2? Return file karne se pehle ye clarity zaroor honi chahiye.

✅ ITR-1 (Sahaj) generally un taxpayers ke liye hai jinki income mainly:

• Salary/Pension
• One House Property
• Interest Income (FD, Savings Account, etc.)
• Family Pension
se aati hai.

✅ ITR-2 generally applicable hota hai agar aapke paas:

• Capital Gain (Shares, Mutual Funds, Property Sale, etc.)
• More than One House Property
• Foreign Assets / Foreign Income
• Company Director Position
• ESOP related reporting requirements
hain.

Simple Rule:

Salary + Interest + One House Property → Usually ITR-1

Salary + Capital Gain / Foreign Assets / Multiple Properties → Usually ITR-2

⚠️ Form selection galat hua to return defective ho sakta hai.

Critical E-Way Bill Update

1. GSTN ne Bill-To / Ship-To transactions ke liye “Ship To GSTIN” field mandatory kar di hai.

Pehle:
Only Bill To GSTIN generally capture kiya jata tha.

Ab:
✔ Ship To GSTIN compulsory hoga
✔ Unregistered consignee case me “URP” mention karna hoga

Ye change data accuracy, goods tracking aur system validation improve karne ke liye introduce kiya gaya hai.

2. Delivery complete hone ke baad E-Way Bill ko voluntarily “Close” karne ka option bhi milega

Ye complete hue E way bill ke misuse hone se rokega.

📌 Important for:
Traders | Manufacturers | Transporters | ERP Teams

Agar systems abhi bhi old process follow kar rahe hain, toh EWB generation issues aa sakte hain.
