When I first read Shikwah I was surprised that how could Allama Iqbal write such bold verses however after reading Shikwah then jawab-e-Shikwah I was truly amazed. Actually In Shikwah, Iqbal questions God about the struggles of Muslims despite their devotion and sacrifices. Through this, he urges Muslims to reflect on their shortcomings, rediscover their unity, work hard, and stay true to their faith to restore their former greatness. It’s not a complaint but a powerful way to inspire hope, self-improvement, and collective action.
