Indian worker killed in Kuwait identified

The Indian worker who was killed in Kuwait during an attack on a power and water desalination plant has been identified as Santhanaselvam Krishnan.

The MEW Workers Association mourned the death of Krishnan — who was working at the time of the attack — extending its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the family and relatives of the deceased.

"We also affirm that the efforts and sacrifices offered by the workers of Ministry of Electricity and Water in the most difficult circumstances are a source of appreciation and pride, as they stand in the front lines to ensure the continuity of electricity and water production and to serve the community with unwavering resolve and unending dedication," the statement added..
