The Creative Spirit
Title: A SEETY (first place at 37th All-India exhibition held by PSI.) Graduating from Sir J.J.Intitute of Applied Art, Mumbai, I started my career as photographer/Visualizer, working for more than decade with renowned advertising agencies such as Parichay Advertising & Impulse Advertising. Winning the first place at the 37th All India exhibition held by the Photographic Society of India – 1983, & the award by Advertising Club of Bombay – 1986 for counter display are the achievements that nurtured the creative spirit in me, but the longing urge to experiment and reinvent prevailed, which tempted me to break free off all boundaries, the sole aim was to set up a full-fledged studio. Over the years, powerful graphical expressions of creative ideas have taken shape in the studio, in the form of still photography and visuals. A milestone in this direction is the professional membership of PGI (Photographer’s Guild of India), a prestigious organization of photographers seeking qualitative and quantitative role in the emerging advertising industry. It is a step forward to give the client quantitative and standardized work under the aegis of PGI. Having shot most of the prestigious clients, a step further to accomplish Air India calendar – 2003.
