Tan Delta Test आखिर क्यों किया जाता है? �
यह HV equipment की insulation condition जानने का एक महत्वपूर्ण diagnostic test है। इससे insulation में moisture, ageing, contamination और deterioration जैसे संकेतों का पता लगाने में मदद मिलती है।
Simple rule: Tan Delta बढ़ना = insulation losses बढ़ने का संकेत।
लेकिन केवल एक reading से final conclusion नहीं निकालना चाहिए—previous test trend, temperature और equipment condition भी देखना जरूरी है।

VCB Trip होना हमेशा सिर्फ breaker की समस्या नहीं होती। Protection relay की indication और fault record से Trip का कारण identify करना जरूरी है।
Safety first — बिना fault का कारण जाने breaker को re-energize न करें।

CT, PT और CVT — देखने में similar, लेकिन काम बिल्कुल अलग! �

Substation yard में इन तीनों को देखकर कई बार confusion हो जाता है कि कौन-सा equipment किस काम के लिए है।

� CT (Current Transformer) → Current measurement & protection
� PT/VT (Potential/Voltage Transformer) → Voltage measurement
� CVT (Capacitive Voltage Transformer) → Capacitive divider principle से voltage measurement

सबसे जरूरी बात � सिर्फ shape देखकर equipment identify न करें। Equipment arrangement, connections और nameplate को भी देखें।
