EPF CEILING INCREASED: ₹15,000 → ₹25,000

The EPF wage ceiling has been increased to ₹25,000 per month, bringing a larger group of employees under EPF coverage.

But what does this mean for your business?

# # # 💰 Direct financial impact

For an employee with ₹25,000 EPF wages:

Earlier
Employee PF: ₹1,800/month
Employer PF: ₹1,800/month

Under the new ceiling
Employee PF: ₹3,000/month
Employer PF: ₹3,000/month

👉 Employee contribution increases by ₹1,200/month
👉 Employer contribution increases by ₹1,200/month
👉 Total additional contribution: ₹2,400/month

That's ₹14,400 additional annual employer cost per affected employee

Employees with EPF wages between ₹15,001 and ₹25,000 are particularly important.

Also review existing employees whose PF contribution is currently restricted to the ₹15,000 ceiling.
