Looking for PIPING SUB-LEAD / PIPING AREA LEAD for Vadodara.
Needs Experience in the Ex*****on of Piping engineering of projects leading a dedicated team of 4 to 8 persons. This could be an entire small project or specific areas of a large project.
Hands on experience in Piping deliverables like Plot Plan, Equipment Layout, Piping Layout, Piping MTO, Piping Isometrics, Pipe Supports.
Good understanding of 3D model-based detail engineering, interfaces with 3D Admin. Basic understanding of Piping stress analysis concepts. Good understanding of Interdisciplinary interfaces and coordination. Familiarity with relevant codes and standards and Good understanding of Brownfield / Turnaround / MOC projects involving interfaces with existing facilities.
Good English communication skills – written and oral.
Experience Required 10-13 years in Piping Engineering field. Minimum 5 years in Piping Detail Engineering of Oil & Gas and/or Chemical Sector projects, executed on a 3D model platform. Experience of handling a team of minimum 5 persons for 8000-10000 manhours.

Needs experience in Preparing Project Design basis for Stress Analysis, Preparing Stress Critical Line List, Execute Stress analysis using software, Preparing Stress reports in project deliverable format, Mark-up stress related data (routing changes, support location and types, etc.) on isometrics for updation in 3D model, Preparing Piping Load Summary as input for Civil/Structural design and Preparing Datasheets, RFQ / MR, TBA and VDR for bought out supports (Eg. Springs).
Good understanding of ASME B31.3 code requirements related to safety in stress, Fl**ge leakage calculations, Calculation of nozzle displacements using first principles (using Geometry, material, temperature), Pipe support constructions, Spring selection criteria, Stress analysis of buried Piping and 3D model navigation in Navisworks.
