Today, we were happy to welcome the Quality Team from Al-Sulaymanyia Co. شركة السليمانية (Kalleh) to Winsome.

It was a pleasure hosting the team at our company and giving them a closer look at our work, services, and the different areas we focus on.

Test: Fat Determination using Ge**er Method

Ge**er Method is a widely recognized standard method for determining the fat content in dairy products.

-Helps verify product quality and consistency by accurately measuring fat content.
-Requires proper sample preparation, calibrated Ge**er equipment, and the correct reagents, such as sulfuric acid and isoamyl alcohol, to ensure reliable results.
-Used as a reference for calibrating equipment and supports regulatory compliance and strengthens confidence in the final product.

On 30 and 31 August, Winsome Company delivered a two-day Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Training at Pepsi Baghdad.

The training covered the key principles of GMP, hygiene practices, proper handling of materials, workplace cleanliness, and the importance of maintaining safe and consistent practices throughout production. The training was delivered by our trainer, Ahmed Elshshtawy, with a focus on practical knowledge and real workplace applications.

Supporting Students, Supporting Our Community 🌱🔬

As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities, we were happy to welcome four students from the College of Food Technology and Agriculture for a one-month summer training programme at Winsome Company.

Through this programme, we aimed to give students the opportunity to gain practical experience in our Microbiology and Physicochemical Laboratories, connect what they learn at university with real workplace practices, and develop skills that can support them in their future careers.

For us, big part of CSR is about giving back to society, supporting young people, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the development of future professionals. We are happy to have played a small part in their learning journey and wish them all the best as they continue their studies and build their careers. 🌱

We were pleased to deliver a Food Safety Training at FFG Warehouse, covering key areas including HACCP, GMP, pest control, food allergens, and SSOPs. The training was designed to strengthen the team’s understanding of food safety requirements and their practical application in daily operations.

The training was delivered by our trainer, Bushra Mustafa, with active participation and valuable discussions from the FFG team. We appreciate their engagement throughout the session and their commitment to maintaining and improving food safety standards.
