Take whichever one resonates the most 🥰

As I’m approaching my next year of life, I’ve been looking back at the last few months and can’t feel anything but L U C K Y 💕

Moving to a new country, all by myself (but with two businesses) has been my biggest challenge so far - but it has also allowed me to create the life I want 🥹

What makes you feel lucky right now?

Why do so many businesses make it SO incredibly hard to work with them?! 😭

Exhibit A:
The email in the pic was all I got (private email address, no domain).

To this day, I have no idea what the business is or does.
Too much friction, too much time to research - it’s a no.

The frustrating thing is: I actually WANT to say yes.

I’m always looking for collaboration partners, new venues, cool brands to work with at Busy with Books 📚 Reading retreats, book club & events.

And - unpopular opinion maybe - I love when I get pitched to.
You’re saving me research time 💁🏼‍♀️

But, like all founders, I have a finite amount of “let me figure this out” energy.

Make it easy for people to say YES:
✅ Website that explains what you do
✅ Updated photos if you’re actively pitching
✅ Enough context that makes replying a 3-second task.

July, you were a big (challenging but beautiful) month 🙂‍↕️

I planted many good seeds for Busy with Books 📚 Reading retreats, book club & events but also felt like I had a million balls up in the air at all times.

Finding balance was key & I got to live some moments I’ve been dreaming of for years 🥹🥰
