L'Azienda Agricola di Battistutta Gabriele è situata a Borgnano, una frazione del Comune di Cormòns, in provincia di Gorizia. I vigneti si trovano nel cuore della zona collinare del Collio e Isonzo del Friuli. I terreni sono costituiti da marne ed arenarie stratificate di origine oceanica, note con il nome locale di “Ponka”, che assieme a opportune scelte colturali, rispettose dell’ambiente, conse
ntono di ottenere uve di ottima qualità, il tutto nel più assoluto rispetto della tradizione di vinificazione. La cantina offre una selezione di vini bianchi, Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, e una selezione di vini rossi, Merlot, Cabernet Franc. Dal 1948 fino ad oggi qualità, passione e dedizione hanno contraddistinto la tradizione enologica dell’azienda. Attualmente l'azienda distribuisce i propri prodotti a bar e ristoranti in Italia e all’estero. La nostra famiglia vi attende il fine settimana presso l’agriturismo denominato “Ca’ dal Bat”, adiacente all’azienda, dove è possibile degustare i nostri vini e assaggiare i prodotti tipici locali da noi selezionati. Nello spaccio vendita adiacente la nostra cantina è possibile acquistare i vini durante tutto l’anno, mentre l’agriturismo rimane aperto nei periodi da marzo a luglio, e da ottobre a gennaio. Battistutta Gabriele’s Winery is located in the little town of Borgnano near Cormons, in the Province of Gorizia. Our family has been working for three generations with passion and devotion in the wine-making industry. The vineyards are situated in the middle of the hilly Collio and Isonzo del Friuli subregions, which are characterized by stratified marl and sandstone of oceanic origin named as “Ponka”. Thanks to this feature and our good cultivation and eco-friendly choices we can grow high-quality grapes with respect for wine-making. Our selection includes Friulano, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon white wines and Merlot and Cabernet Franc red wines. Since 1948, quality, passion, and devotion to our work has been carried out as oenologic tradition in the winery. We are now exporting wine products in the restaurant industry worldwide. Our family will welcome you during weekends at the farmhouse restaurant known as “Ca’ dal Bat”, close to the winery, where you can taste our wines and local delicatenesses selected by us.
