1140 km from Dubrovnik to Milano.
Game over. 11 countries, 7950 km, from 44 degrees to 6. It's been a special journey. Felt my bike growing as my extension every day more. Seen great places, met great people. Cried of happyness and sadness. Felt alone but never lonely. Felt cold, wet, warm and hungry. Tired but never satisfied. The final day is an achievement but tastes bitter. A part of me wanted to continue. Solo riding is my dimension and will start penning down other routes. Always with my Yugen. She never gave up, ever. Thanks for the support

Anche la prima moto non si scorda mai. Nel mio caso una Gilera 98 acquistata usata, da Perere a Milano nel 1965, con i soldi miei dopo quasi un anno di lavoro nel pomeriggio, dopo la scuola. Eccomi qui alla Montagnetta di San Siro, 17 enne ancora senza barba, ripetente, poco dedito allo studio, anzi un vero somaro. Ma già lanciato nella grande avventura. La prima moto ti apre un mondo: scopri che un motore anche piccolo, collegato a due ruote e al cavo dell'acceleratore, è capace di moltiplicare per mille la tua sete di vivere. Avrà fatto gli ottanta all'ora, quella Gilera 98, e mi pareva di volare. Dieci anni dopo correvo con una 500 GP, ma quella emozione non l'ho più provata. Ma del resto lo sapete anche voi: la prima moto resta unica.
