School holidays for the win 😂 Filmed this for myself more than anyone else 👼

There are some of us whose brains literrrallllyy don’t switch off and it takes all our might and power to not try and “optimize” the present moment, and just BE.

I’m trying so hard to be better at this. If you are to, follow along 👋🏼 What helps you get out of your head and back into the present moment? Would love to hear from people who struggle with this too.

Side note: ending up being such a lovely afternoon with the girls. We surprisingly found a bunch of old corn on the cob (mealies) on the beach 😂 we pretended that our boat had crashed and we were stranded on an abandoned island. We collected all the mealies, made a “fire” on the beach, cooked them, and proceeded to make a boat so we could get back home. The girls are getting more into imaginative play and I’m LOVING it.

Again, to my point in the reel linked above, that sometimes our kids are our greatest catapult back into the present moment.
