The luxury world is changing.

This week, Bottega Veneta officially introduced “Woven Mycelium”, a new project developed with Ephea®, an innovative material created from mycelium through Italian bio-fabrication research.

What makes this moment important is not simply the material itself.

It is the fact that one of the world’s most influential luxury houses has decided to integrate next-generation materials into a globally distributed collection.

For us, this conversation began years ago.

Back in 2017, we started questioning what the future of luxury could become.
Not only aesthetically.
But ethically, creatively, and materially.

That vision led us, in 2020, to launch our first collection of luxury sandals crafted entirely with animal-free materials.

At the time, many still believed alternative materials could not coexist with glamour, sensuality, Italian craftsmanship, and artisanal beauty.

We believed the opposite.

Today, watching major luxury houses move in this direction confirms something we have always felt deeply:

the future of luxury will belong to brands capable of combining craftsmanship, innovation, beauty, and consciousness in the same object.

Last night, Roberto and I officially joined the new Rotary Club Sirmione e Terre di Lugana during a truly meaningful evening made even more special by the presence of Gordon McInally, Past President of Rotary International, and his powerful message: “Create Hope in the World”.

Because true luxury is not only about beauty.
It is also about people, vision, responsibility and the desire to leave something positive behind us.

The silver Dama Venus Bag, handcrafted in Italy and designed as a wearable jewel, will be part of the Pink Power charity auction during Purses & Prosecco in Pennsylvania on April 23rd.

This special event supports women fighting breast cancer and raises funds for important cancer centers and patient care programs.

When Denise, founder of Pink Power, visited my boutique in Sirmione and shared her mission, I felt deeply connected to her beautiful purpose.

That is why I chose to donate the Dama Venus Bag — because true luxury is not only beauty, but meaning.
