1night 2 d⛰️ 1 Night • 2 Days • Valmalenco 🥾✨

Up, down, and up again… my legs definitely felt every kilometer! 😂

Rainy trails, mountain air, a night at the rifugio, an unforgettable sunrise, and views that made every exhausting step worth it. 🏔️❤️

Two days of adventure, tired legs, happy heart, and memories I’ll keep for a long time.

The plan was to stay up all night to see the Milky Way 🌌✨… but we fell asleep. 😴 By 5 a.m., the sky was already getting brighter as sunrise approached, so the Milky Way was gone. We had to settle for this beautiful starry sky instead. ⭐️⛰️ Still worth it.

My muscles are still sore from the past few days, so today is all about gentle movement, stretching, and recovery. 😌💪
No pushing too hard—just helping my body loosen up and relax. 🤍

𝘍𝑒𝘦𝑙𝘪𝑛𝘨 𝘴𝑜 𝑠𝘮𝑎𝘭𝑙 𝑠𝘶𝑟𝘳𝑜𝘶𝑛𝘥𝑒𝘥 𝘣𝑦 𝑠𝘰𝑚𝘦𝑡𝘩𝑖𝘯𝑔 𝑠𝘰 𝘮𝑎𝘨𝑛𝘪𝑓𝘪𝑐𝘦𝑛𝘵. 🏔️

At the Laghetto Effimero in Valmalenco, around 2,600 m above sea level, where mountains, meltwater and sky come together in perfect silence.

What makes this little lake even more special is how it is born: later in the season, meltwater from the Vazzeda Glacier collects beneath Cima di Valbona, temporarily creating this beautiful little lake. That’s why it is called “Effimero” — ephemeral, because it doesn’t stay forever. 💧🧊🏔️

Nature has a way of reminding us just how beautiful this world is. ✨
