Hello friends of Apple Village Design IG, new and old! It’s been a while since I’ve posted- let alone introduced myself. I’m Alex, interior designer, mom of 4, wife, lover of peace, calm, beauty, “the unexpected”, serendipity, interconnectedness, and the importance of energy and how it relates to our physical surroundings.

I have tried in the past to “keep up” with posting all of the time and marketing in this way, but the truth is, I find that I am way more present, and having way more inspo moments when I simply put my phone down. This is not to say I don’t have a serious admiration and appreciation for my fellow designers that are able to do it all.

I got married last month to an incredible man, and have been really enjoying being swept up in it all. This photo is from my honeymoon in St. Lucia last month ✨.

I have a handful of clients right now and am so grateful that the universe always brings exactly what I need and can handle.

My business is totally 100% referral based. I rarely share things I do, because I don’t even think about doing that 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, I love what I do, and who I surround myself with. Energy is everything. It is precious. And creating the best energy in a space is medicinal. That’s kind of the mentality and space I lead from in every project I do.

When Amanda asked me to design her new dance studio, , what I didn’t realize was how rewarding and uplifting the experience would be all around. Creating this space with the characteristics of the leader in mind- strength, light, beauty, adaptability and clarity was my main focus. AC DANCE officially opens on January 3rd and you are not going to want to miss the opportunity to train with a talent such as Amanda Cuoco. Additionally, she is bringing in top leaders in the industry… Performers who have mastered their craft and are willing to share their talents as well. Another angle of this kitchen transformation. We chose a barn door for the bathroom because, well, why not. Bold wallpaper (makes everything better), and makes this wall FUN and happy. We also moved the lighting to create more of a dining moment, and added recessed to brighten up the entrance corner.
