I’ve always been a quiet individual, what most would call an introvert. When I first started cutting in a shop at 19, I struggled to cut and talk at the same time. One day, the shop owner told me, “you have to talk in order to keep your clients.” That moment shifted everything for me.

Conversation became part of the experience. At first it was just small talk, but over time it became a form of art. The words opened doors into people’s lives, revealed truths behind the veil, and gave me space to bring spirit into the chair.

Now, even though I remain a quiet person, the silence is intentional, listening for what really needs to be said.

What's up guys,

I’ve got a few important updates I want to share with you regarding the studio, scheduling, and some exciting changes ahead:

• Jaxson Maximus has officially closed. All clients will now be seen at my private studio in Brickell located at 108 SW 9th St., Suite 22, Miami, FL 33130.

• The schedule will be tighter moving forward, so I highly recommend planning your appointments in advance to secure your preferred time.

• We’ve welcomed a new team member, Gil, to the studio. He’ll be sharing the space and is available for bookings. Feel free to stick with your barber or choose whoever works best with your schedule.

• Prepaid services will no longer be available. With the expansion of the team, all appointments will be paid at the time of service going forward.

• Same-day cancellations and no-shows will now be subject to a 50% fee of the booked service. Cancellations must be made at least 3 hours before your appointment to avoid the fee.

• House calls and after-hours appointments are now available as a premium service. Reach out directly if you’d like to arrange something outside normal hours until we get our setup going.

Put yourself in their shoes and see what they want to see in the mirror.

I started trying to cut my own hair when I was 9 years old because I wanted pointy sideburns. As I got older, I’d always come home from the barbershop and fix what they missed, and I always wondered why they didn’t care as much as I did about the little details.

That’s what led me to cutting my friends’ hair in 7th grade and letting it grow into a career from there.

Looking back on that moment, I’m not sure what I fed on more, the craft of cutting hair alone, or the feeling of knowing I made someone look and feel good about themselves.
