Another video game-related update for you guys, Origin are giving away copies of Dead Space on the PC absolutely free as a promotion until the 8th of May 2014, so head on over to https://www.origin.com/en-ie/store/on-the-house-ANW.html and pick up yours before it's too late !

For those of you that are not familiar with it, Dead Space is a survival horror game in space - critically acclaimed, but *not* for the faint of heart !!

Unlike GOG, Origin requires you to download a software interface (the "Origin Client") to launch the game, just to forewarn you.

For those of you with iPhones or other iOS devices, you might like to check out this awesome app called "Sleep Cycle" (www.sleepcycle.com) - it uses the accelerometer in your device to gauge what type of sleep you're currently engaging in (light, deep, etc.), and then wakes you up when you are in a *light* sleep phase, thereby reducing instances of "sleep inertia" - you know when you wake up and you feel like you're more fatigued than when you went to bed ?

It's very reasonably priced, and we have been testing it out and it seems to work well - I for one could get quite used to it ! =]
