Most of us don’t think twice about throwing away a glass bottle.

But glass is one of the few materials that can be recycled over and over again.

That’s why Clear Conscience exists.

We’re a non-profit initiative working to collect, process, and prepare glass for recycling right here in Jamaica.

Not because it’s easy.
Not because it’s profitable.

Because throwing away valuable materials when they can be given a second life is simply a waste.

Surprising uses for recycled glass part 2

That countertop metal started left as a glass bottle.

Once processed, recycled glass can be used in beautiful surfaces for homes, restaurants, bars, and commercial spaces.

Not bad for something most people throw away.

We’ve been focused on plastic…

Meanwhile glass can be reused forever.
Same bottle. Same quality. Every time.

But instead?
We throw it away.

We’re not running out of glass.
We’re just wasting it.
