In 2009 Mr. Ty Lee announced his plan to retire from the fi eld of offi ce design and in July of the
same year – with much regret – he turned off the lights for the final time at System-O Design
Associates ending the fi rm’s 22 year history as a premier design consulting house. During its 22 years System-O built an impressive portfolio of projects and fi rmly established
a reputation as a highly a
ccomplished design fi rm with both a unique creative culture and
a fi rst-class customer service. A closure of such a fi rm left a shock in the offi ce design industry.
6 years after the unforgettable closure, in 2015 a new System-O has risen up from the
ashes of the old. It is called “System-O Design Consulting” - the spiritual heir to the original
System-O and the principles Mr. Ty Lee so diligently nurtured and instilled in his team. As a mark of respect and gratitude the new fi rm also bears the System-O brand.
