Great, open space , for Futurizing
Some European cities keep winning EU funding. Others, equally innovative, never make it past the application stage. Why?
It is rarely about the idea. More often, it comes down to the unwritten rules: how evaluators read proposals, when to start building your consortium, how to handle budgeting requirements that trip up first-time applicants, and what to do when implementation gets complicated.
On 5 May, three cities are opening up about their real experiences. Representatives from Ghent, Lille, and Riga will share the lessons they wish someone had told them before they applied, from scoping and partnerships to project delivery. The session is organised by the Living-in EU Education and Capacity-building Working Group as part of the Go-Li Eu project, and is the second in a series helping cities approach programmes like Horizon Europe, the Digital Europe Programme, Net Zero Cities, and the New European Bauhaus with more confidence.
Come along, bring your questions. One hour, real stories, no jargon.
