Title:. "How Can We Create and Expand a Culture of Agility Within the Organization?"
Subtitle: "~ It's not just by doing things the Agile way ~
Synopsis:
Many people consider Agile to be the methodology and use Scrum as a "KATA", focusing on the "HOW"; I was also one of those people.
While striving to grow from a state of unawareness to awareness, this is not necessarily a bad thing, and I don't deny the value of focusing solely on the "HOW".
On the other hand, many companies choose between Waterfall and Scrum on a project-by-project basis, based on their intuition.
This neither fosters nor expands a culture of agility.
While some projects may benefit from Agile, the company as a whole will not. I think this is a great waste.
I believe that if companies can mature into autonomous and organically active teams, better services and products will flourish worldwide.
I believe that if companies can mature into autonomous and organically active teams, better services and products will flourish worldwide. I believe that “LeSS”are called upon to help increase the number of such companies.
In this session, based on my experience introducing Agile to companies from various industries in Japan, I will explore what activities are necessary in order to reap the benefits of Agile, and focus on what to be mindful of and what to give up.
Also, since my experience is in Japan, I would like to explore "kaizen" and Agile, and myths surrounding the Japanese "kaizen mindset".
