Yama no Hi — Mountain Day

Today, August 11, Japan celebrates Yama no Hi, or Mountain Day—a day to appreciate the beauty and importance of Japan’s mountains. 🌿⛰️

Pero habang tinitingnan ko ang bundok na ito, naisip ko…

Ang bundok ay parang journey natin sa buhay.
Hindi natin kailangang makita agad ang buong daan para magsimulang umakyat. Minsan, ang kailangan lang natin ay isang hakbang, isang decision, at consistency na magpatuloy.

Ganoon din sa pagbuo ng business.
Hindi mo kailangang alam agad ang lahat.
Hindi mo kailangang perfect ka muna.
At hindi mo kailangang makita ang buong journey bago ka magsimula.

Start where you are. Learn as you go. Keep moving forward. 💙

Minsan akala natin, happiness is having more.

More things. More achievements. More money.

Pero habang tumatagal, nare-realize ko na may mga simpleng moments na mas mahalaga kaysa sa mga bagay na pinaghihirapan nating makuha.

And that’s one of the reasons I keep building my business.

Hindi lang para may ma-achieve ako, but to build something that supports the kind of life and moments that truly matter to me.

Kasi para sa akin, success isn’t just about what we can earn.
It’s also about the life we get to live. 💙

5 years ago, akala ko okay na ang buhay ko.

Kuntento na ako kasi may regular job ako, may part-time work pa sa gabi, at may iba pa akong pinagkukunan ng resources.

At that time, feeling ko okay na ako.

Pero habang lumilipas ang panahon, narealize ko na totoo pala ang kasabihan:

Kapag hindi mo ginamit sa tama ang resources na meron ka, puwede itong mawala na parang bula.

Hindi dahil wala kang pinaghirapan.

Hindi rin dahil hindi ka marunong kumita.

Minsan, hindi lang natin naiisip kung paano natin gagamitin ang kung anong meron tayo para may maiiwan sa future.

That became one of my biggest realizations.

Kaya ngayon, iba na ang mindset ko.

Hindi na lang “Paano ako kikita?”

Mas iniisip ko na rin, “Ano ang pwede kong buuin habang meron pa akong resources, skills, at pagkakataong matuto?”

Doon ko mas na-appreciate ang business na ginagawa ko ngayon.

Because for me, it's not just about building another source of income.

It’s about learning how to build something that can continue to grow, while I’m also learning, improving, and preparing for the future.

Hindi ko mababago kung paano ko ginamit ang resources ko noon.

Pero kaya kong baguhin kung paano ko gagamitin ang meron ako ngayon.

And maybe, that's a realization worth thinking about today. 💙

Still feeling grateful. 🤍

My birthday may be over, but my heart is still full.

Thank you sa lahat ng naglaan ng oras para bumati, nag-message, nag-comment, at nagpadala ng love nitong birthday ko. 🥰

Some messages were short, some were long, but every single one meant something to me.

Sometimes, we get so busy with work, family, and everything life asks from us that we forget how meaningful it is to simply pause and appreciate the people who remember us.

Kaya today, I just want to say:

Thank you for remembering me. Thank you for being part of my journey. And thank you for making my birthday a little more special. 💙

Another year older, another year wiser—and still choosing to learn, grow, and keep showing up. ✨

Grateful for another year. Grateful for the people. Grateful for the journey.

May trabaho ka naman. Pero bakit parang hindi ka pa rin umaabante sa goal mo?

For many working moms, hindi naman kulang sa sipag.

Ang problema minsan… lahat ng oras nauubos sa responsibilities.

Work.
Family.
Household.
Repeat.

Then kapag may natirang oras, saka pa lang natin naiisip yung sarili nating goals.

Kaya one thing I learned in building my business:

Hindi mo kailangang hintayin na magkaroon ka ng maraming free time bago ka magsimula.

You need to learn how to make progress within the time you already have.

Even 30 minutes of learning.
One meaningful conversation.
One piece of content.
One small action toward your goal.

Hindi maliit ang progress dahil maliit ang oras.

Consistency makes small actions count. 💙
