Cacao tea
from 100% Taiwanese cacao beans

I’ve heard that Cacao tea is popular In Europe.
Because there are tremendous chocolate lover ??

Taiwanese cacao tea can be got in Kyoto until 14th Feb.

Ohbukucha(大福茶)

In 951, it happened epidemic, many people died in Kyoto. One monk, Kuya served tea with dried kelp and plum to the sick people. They got well.
　
We Kyoto people still drink every new year to hope our health for the year.

The Taiwan Coffee Promotion Project in Japan, which I was involved in as a person in charge on the Japanese side, was published in today's Kyoto newspaper ! It is a great pleasure for me^^

Zazen -seated meditation🧘‍♀️
　
Long time no Zazen!
This time yesterday was the first zazen in a temple for me in this year.
　　
The temple, called SHINTOKUJI, is opposite of MIBUDERA in Kyoto.

It belongs to Rinzai sect.
　
SEIKENJI temple where I have attended the zazen gathering belongs to Soto sect, that’s why their zazen method have a small difference.
　　
The attendees last night was 3 people including me.

Regularly, SHINTOKUJI holds zazen gathering in 8th of every month.
Starting at 19pm, have 30mins per 1 meditation x twice.

　　
The shinokin (money for admission fee) is up to you. One of attendees made an offering money of 300yen.

It’s located near center of Kyoto, quite accessible.
　　
The chief priest is young and gentlemen.

People who live in Kyoto and tourists(after corona...) can visit there and join the zazen gathering when you are in Kyoto in the date of 8th!

MUJI who attended as well when I opened pop-up shop last time！
　　
At that time, they sold fresh vegetables packaged in eco-bags made of Jute, uneven Baumkuchen, Melon soda without artificial colorant, lightly sweetened grape cookies, etc...
　　
The staff said that they displayed only popular goods, so that there were lots of attractive goods. I got the Baumkuchen and vegetable set :-)

Pop-up store for 1 day last week
with MUJI and Head spa room
at Heroes Coffee

Sorry for the late report ...

It was a sunny day and a little has yellow sandy winds so that being tough to display the products outside.

The customers could see the photos of Higashiyoshino that I pasted as if it were a photo exhibition and could taste the tea.
I also could taste with customers and get healed.

Actually, I had MUJI's uneven Baum at lunch then
I got a vegetable set with a jute bag 🥕🍅🥔

I'm sure that I'll open the pop-up store there again next time, so please visit at that time ^ ^
