With the weather finally getting colder, I've started wearing slippers at home. In a country where you take your shoes off at the entrance and the floor can get cold in the winter, slippers are pretty important. There must be loads of interesting slippers in Japan. The word for slipper in Japanese is surippaa. It's borrowed from English. I wonder what Japanese people used to wear on their feet at home in the winter before slippers became common. Anyway, does anyone have any good Japanese slipper photos?
