Kinmedai (金目鯛), also known as splendid alfonsino, has a striking beautiful appearance with its vibrant red body and unusually large eyes. This prized fish is most commonly found in the waters south of Tokyo, especially off the coasts of Kanagawa and Shizuoka Prefectures.
