It is also a word that is only somewhat familiar, infrequently used, and rather fun and challenging to say. It is a good metaphor for being an Expat. We are somewhat familiar with new cultures we enter, infrequently interact with old friends and family in other countries and have many fun and challenging experiences. Betwixt as an entity, is still emerging. For now, it is a repository of an eponymous blog and a list of reference materials regarding intercultural business, intercultural differences, Third Culture Kids and living internationally. It may also serve as a reference point for people who have not moved internationally, but who are interested in what that experience is like.
