Inspiration 146: Seasonal Shifts:
The mission at RGC Rongai Leadership Summit was a Soaring Success, glory to God. My personal experience as Minister, Leader, Trainer and Counselor, and interactions with people has taught me that Life is a journey marked not by a straight line, but by seasons. There are moments of growth and moments of stillness; times of abundance and times of waiting. As believers, we are not exempt from the rhythm of these seasonal shifts, but we are promised that God is with us in every season — working, shaping, and preparing us for His divine purpose.
I see the opportunities opening up until I have to let some go or send my son's and daughters as a testament to this thought - Seasons Shift. The writer of Ecclesiastes reminds us powerfully: “To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.” – Ecclesiastes 3:1
This truth reveals a divine pattern: God has a time and a purpose for everything. The joy of spring, the heat of summer, the shedding of autumn, and the stillness of winter — each season has value, even if some don’t feel productive. Sometimes we thrive, and sometimes we survive. But even in our silent, hidden seasons, God is not idle.
Like a seed hidden in the soil, God often works in us quietly before He works through us visibly. And while we may grow restless in the waiting, His timing is never wrong. As Galatians 6:9 encourages: “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
It is tempting to stop when results are not immediate. We may feel forgotten or question if our efforts matter. But Scripture calls us to keep doing our bit — in season and out of season. As Paul instructs Timothy: “Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.” – 2 Timothy 4:2 (NIV)
Your current season does not define your future significance. God may be planting, pruning, or positioning you — all part of a divine process that leads to due season. And when that due season comes, He will bring forth the harvest, the platform, the breakthrough, the impact — not because we forced it, but because we trusted Him in the in-between.
Inspiration: Don’t despise the quiet seasons. Don’t give up when it feels dry. Keep serving. Keep growing. Keep showing up. Be consistent. Don't stop. God sees your faithfulness. Every prayer, every effort, every hidden act of obedience is being recorded in heaven. And one day, it will all make sense.
You may be in winter now — but spring is coming.
You may be in preparation — but your platform is coming.
You may feel unseen — but God is working behind the scenes.
So hold fast. Stay faithful. And trust the God of all seasons. Rev Eliud Nguku - 0726778635.
