The British Council and IDP* will no longer offer IELTS via the paper format in Kenya from 27th June 2026.

Test takers can still take the most trusted high stakes English Language test in Kenya on computer. IELTS on computer offers results typically within 1-2 days and is available throughout the week, offering test-takers more flexibility. Additionally, test-takers can benefit from taking an IELTS One Skill Retake, which is only available to IELTS on computer customers.
