Remember the Kodak company? In 1997, Kodak had about 160,000 employees.
And about 85% of the world's photography was done with Kodak cameras. With the rise of mobile cameras over the past few years, Kodak Camera Company is out of the market. Even Kodak went completely bankrupt and all his employees were fired.

At the same time many more famous companies had to stop themselves. Like

HMT (clock)
BAJAJ (स्कूटर)
DYANORA (TV)
MURPHY (RADIO)
NOKIA (Mobile)
RAJDOOT (Bike)
Ambassador (car)

None of the above companies had bad quality. Why are these companies out yet? Because they could not change themselves over time.

Standing in the present moment you probably don't think how much the world could change in the next 10 years! And today's 70%-90% jobs will be completely over in the next 10 years. We are slowly entering the era of "Fourth Industrial Revolution".

Check out today's famous companies-

UBER is just a software name. No, they have no cars of their own. Yet today the world's largest taxi-fair company is UBER.

Airbnb is the largest hotel company in the world today. But funny thing is they don't own a single hotel in the world.

Similarly, examples of countless companies like Paytm, Ola Cab, Oyo rooms etc can be given.

There is no work for new lawyers in America today, because a legal software called IBM Watson can advocate much better than any new lawyer. Thus, almost 90% of Americans will not have any jobs in the next 10 years. The remaining 10% will be saved. These will be 10% experts.

The new doctor is also sitting down to work. Watson software can detect cancer and other diseases 4 times more accurately than humans. Computer intelligence will surpass human intelligence by 2030.

90% of today's cars will not be seen on the roads in the next 20 years. Leftover cars will either run by electricity or hybrid cars. The roads will slowly become empty. Gasoline consumption will decrease and oil producing Arab countries will slowly become bankrupt.

If you want a car you have to ask for a car from a software like Uber. And as soon as you ask for a car, a completely driverless car will come and park in front of your door. If you travel with several people in the same car, the rent of a car per person will be less than a bike.

Driving without driver will reduce the number of accidents by 99%. And this is why car insurance will stop and car insurance companies will be out.

Things like driving on earth will no longer survive. Traffic police and parking staff won't be required when 90% of vehicles disappear from the road.

Just think, there used to be STD booths in the streets even 10 years ago. All these STD booths were forced to close after the mobile revolution came in the country. Those who survived have become mobile recharge shops. Again online revolution in mobile recharge. People started recharging their mobile online sitting at home. Had to replace these recharge shops again. Now these are just mobile phones to buy and sell and repair shops. But this will also change very soon. Mobile phone sales are increasing directly from Amazon, Flipkart.

The definition of money is also changing. There used to be cash but in today's age it has become "plastic money". Credit card and debit card round was a few days ago. Now that too is changing and the era of mobile wallet is coming. Growing market of Paytm, one click of mobile money.

Those who cannot change with age, age removes them from the earth. So keep changing with the times.

Keep creating great content, keep moving with time.

December 1937 as Chelsea FC battled Charlton FC at Stanford Bridge Stadium in London, the match was stopped and abandoned at the 60th minute due to a heavy fog. Unfortunately, the Charlton FC legendary goalkeeper, Sam Bartram remained unaware and kept guarding the goal post for another fifteen minutes after the match was stopped.

He didn't hear the referee's whistle because of the crowd behind him. He stood at the goal with his arms outstretched and completely focused in the fog so as not to be caught unawares as he thought his teammates were attacking the opponents goal.

Fifteen minutes after the match was abandoned, he was approached by the Stadium Police and informed the match had been stopped fifteen minutes earlier. Sam Bartram said these famous great words with great sorrow. "HOW SAD THAT MY FRIENDS FORGOT ME WHEN I WAS GUARDING THEIR GATE." There are many players in the field of Life whose Goal we defend with enthusiasm and Support, but when the situation become a wave of fog, they leave us behind.

UPDATE: GEN Z protesters highlights critical issues and demands that require immediate attention and action by the Parliament.

1. Economic and Financial Reforms

The housing levy is perceived as a slush fund for the executive. We demand its immediate abolition to prevent misuse of public funds.

1.1. Abolish the Housing Levy:

1.2. Remove Exclusions in the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF):

All Kenyans should have access to comprehensive healthcare services without any exclusions under the SHIF. SHIF, just like its predecessor NHIF, should be the most comprehensive insurance fund that every Kenya has and support the achievement of UHC. The current regulation includes a long list of exclusions that should be removed.

1.3. Drop the CAS Bill and CAS Positions:

The creation of Chief Administrative Secretary (CAS) positions is an unnecessary financial burden. We demand the discontinuation of the CAS Bill and the elimination of these positions.

1.4. Eliminate MP Allowances:

Members of Parliament should earn a basic salary without additional allowances for attending parliamentary sittings. Savings from these allowances should be redirected to critical sectors like health and education.

1.5. Mandatory Jail Term for Corruption:

Introduce a mandatory jail term of at least five years for individuals convicted of looting public funds, alongside the recovery of all stolen funds. There should be no out-of-court settlements for corruption cases.

1.6. Redirect Savings to Health and Education:

Funds saved from the elimination of allowances and CAS positions should be allocated to health and education, with a focus on increasing the higher education fund to ensure no student pays more than Ksh. 50,000 per year in university fees.

1.7. Drop the Proposal to Increase Fuel Levy by 39%:

The proposed increase in the fuel levy will disproportionately affect the cost of living. We demand its immediate withdrawal.

1.8. Drop the Proposal to Increase SEP to 6% of Revenue:

Digital businesses should pay corporate tax like other companies. The proposed SEP increase will stifle the growth of digital enterprises, which are crucial for job creation.

1.9. Oppose imposition of excise duty

We demand the rejection of proposals to impose excise duty vegetable oils at 25%. These measures will increase the cost of essential services and goods.

1.10. Remove Excise Duty on Internet Bundles:

We oppose the proposal to increase excise duty on internet data from 15% to 20%. Kenya already has one of the most expensive internet services in the region. We propose removal of excise duty on internet all together. Removing excise duty on internet bundles will make access more affordable and provide young people with an opportunity to create own employment through online jigs and content creation.

1.11. Reduce Budgets for First and Second Lady Offices:

The budget for the offices of the First and Second Lady should not exceed Ksh. 200 million annually. If additional funds are needed, they should be raised independently

1.12. Cut Statehouse Renovation Budgets:

The proposed budgets for renovations at Statehouse and Deputy President Office-Harambee Annex should be cut from the Appropriation Bill 2024.

1.14. Remove Import Duty on Filming Equipment and Services

To support young entrepreneurs in content creation, import duty, eco-levy, and VAT on filming equipment should be removed, as there are no local manufacturers for such equipment.

1.15. Remove Excise Duty on Digital Platforms:

Eliminate excise duty on digital platforms for services offered in Kenya by non-residents to encourage digital entrepreneurship.

2. Social and Governance Reforms

2.1. Address Issues Affecting Young People:

Drop the Replacement ID Fee: Reduce the Ksh. 1000 fee to no than Ksh, 200 for replacing national IDs and the requirement for a new driver's license every three years.

Amend ID Expiry Rules: National IDs should not expire, reducing bureaucratic burdens on citizens.

2.2. Reform the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC):

The IEBC should be reconstituted to allow for the recall of MPs who fail to represent their constituents effectively.

2.3. Referendum on Governance Issues:

Initiate a referendum to address governance issues, including the overrepresentation in the National Assembly.

2.4. Employment for Intern Doctors and Junior Secondary School (JSS) Teachers:

Ensure the employment of intern doctors and JSS teachers, and reinstate those who were dismissed for participating in strikes.

*HISTORY OF VEHICLES REGISTRATION IN KENYA*

1920-1989

The first series was registered in 1920 when a single letter was attributed to each of the 14 registration Districts as follows; N=Kiambu, E=Kisumu, J=Kitale, B,H,T,W=Nairobi, A=Mombasa, C=Nakuru, D=Kericho, F=Eldoret, G=Nyeri, K=Muranga, L=Kisii, Q=Machakos, S=Lamu, V=Isiolo, and Y=Nanyuki.

It is not known when the first vehicle was registered in Kenya. Note; Meru District was not important to be a registration centre.

1989-2007

After registration of KZZ999, the second series followed in 1989. The series followed KAA001A to KAZ999Z. Each 3rd letter of of the number provided for 23,976 registration units. Hence for the series to be completed, about 575,524 vehicles will be registered. KAF, KAO and KAI were omitted. This service took 17 years.

2007-2014

After the registration of KAZ 999Z, the 3rd registration series of KBA 001A to KBZ 999Z, was started in 2007. Please note that 575,524 vehicles were registered in 7 years. This is obviously a reflection of Kibaki turnaround of the economy.

2014-2020

After registration of vehicle KBZ999Z the 4th registration series was started in 2014 as KCA 001A. This series ran to KCZ 999Z in September 2020. This took 6 years to complete.

2020 to Present.

After the registration of KCZ 999Z in September 2020 the 5th registration series of KDA 000A to KDZ 999Z started. It looks like KD will take longer. The cost of vehicles led by ridiculous taxation and depreciation of Kenya Shilling will slow the importation of vehicles.

Jose Mourinho: "I have watched AFCON more than European football. They are simply teaching us to be honest. In AFCON VAR is used exactly the way it should be used. They do not use it to help the money magnet teams or famous teams. This is why you saw the best out of every team . Because they know VAR is not hired behind the scenes but is for everyone. They listen even to their Players if the Ref missed something and go check. In Europe if I as a coach or a player plead with a ref to go check something, it is a red card for doing that. The headquarters for VAR needs to be in CAF"
