Every hydroponic system seems too complex.

Talks of Tank A and B.

White roots floating in the water.

Anytime I search hydroponics on YouTube, I feel overwhelmed too.

This is why I set up the simplest soilless structure.

1. A bucket.

2. Water.

3. Seeds.

4. Nutrients.

The results?
Two ugali worth of vegetables at almost zero maintenance.
Kisumu Environmental Champions and Kisumu Young Agriprenuers would be proud of me.

Hydroponics does not have to be complex. It is the most-passive way you can produce your greens.

An old challenge was finding nutrients for the small-scale farmer. But that's no longer a problem.

The installation of the evaporative charcoal cooler and an Aggregation Centre for African Leafy Vegetables(ALVs) at our KIYA office in Nyalenda, Kisumu is now complete.

This is a game changer and would revolutionise ALV production within Kisumu County interms of value addition and aggregation.

The launch and training dates have been set to 15th and 16th August (Thursday and Friday).
