HOW TO RESIGN FROM A POLITICAL PARTY

OPTION 1: VIA USSD 📱

Dial *509 # on your mobile phone, then:

1. Enter your National ID number.
2. Follow the prompts to verify your details.
3. Select Political Party Membership Resignation.
4. Follow the instructions to confirm and complete your resignation.

OPTION 2: VIA eCITIZEN 💻

1. Log in to eCitizen using your credentials.
2. Select the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP).
3. Go to Political Party Membership services.
4. Check your membership status, if necessary.
5. Select Membership Resignation/Deregistration.
6. Submit the request and follow the prompts to complete the process.

OPTION 3: WRITTEN NOTICE / IPPMS ✍️

Online: Log in to the IPPMS Portal, select My Account → Membership Resignation, indicate your reason for resignation and confirm using the OTP sent to your phone.
