We are honored to welcome Reana Rossouw as a member of the Development Dynamics . Reana is a renowned visionary and thought leader in the social impact ecosystem. She is also the Founder and Chief Enabling Officer of Next Generation Consultants, a South African-based firm dedicated to strategic impact advisory and consulting.

With over two decades of experience within the social impact economy, Reana has worked alongside funders, investors and institutions to reimagine how capital, effort and innovation are translated into sustainable and systemic impact. She is passionate about defining, funding and scaling impact by interrogating capital structures, refining performance metrics and empowering ecosystems to deliver inclusive outcomes. Through her research, frameworks and generously shared insights, Reana has consistently contributed to shaping and refining the perception of impact.

Reana joins the Development Dynamics Advisory Council at a crucial moment in our growth and new strategic dispensation. Strong institutions are often shaped quietly, through the wisdom of those who have spent years strengthening systems, stewarding partnerships, and expanding what is possible.

We are therefore deeply honoured to welcome Ivan Teri to the Development Dynamics Advisory Council.

Ivan is based in Washington DC, and brings close to two decades of experience advancing and quality improvement across more than 17 countries in sub-Saharan Africa. His work reflects a rare blend of technical depth, systems thinking, institutional stewardship and commitment to equitable care.

As Senior Performance Improvement Specialist at Johns Hopkins Medicine and Professorial Lecturer at George Washington Universityโ€™s Milken Institute School of Public Health, Ivan continues to shape how health institutions learn, adapt, and improve performance in increasingly complex environments.

Across leadership and technical roles at EGPAF, PharmAccess Foundation, and BRIDGE Africa, Ivan has helped strengthen national and regional health initiatives through improved systems design, implementation support, strategic partnerships, and evidence-informed decision-making. His contributions have advanced care , , and to more responsive and people-centred services across the continent.

Ivanโ€™s work has also engaged and influenced global partnerships with institutions including PEPFAR, USAID, CDC, WHO, the Gates Foundation, and the Global Fund, helping bridge strategy, implementation, financing and measurable impact across multiple health ecosystems.

We begin this journey with Arif Neky, Regional Director, East Africa at Aga Khan University.

Arif brings more than 25 years of leadership across banking, philanthropy, development finance, ecosystem building, blended finance, and impact investing. His work has consistently shaped the architecture of collaboration across East Africa and beyond, helping bridge capital, communities, institutions, and long-term development ambitions.

From the UN SDG Partnership Platform in Kenya to the Kenya Philanthropy Forum and regional impact investing ecosystems, Arifโ€™s leadership reflects a rare ability to convene across sectors while keeping equity, sustainability, and systems thinking firmly in view.

Over the past few months, Arif has generously shared his counsel, perspective, and strategic insight with us as DD continues its own journey of evolution and introspection. His presence brings both grounding and stretch: the kind of leadership that sharpens thinking while expanding horizons.
