Let's face it because you are either a woman or associated to a woman at least by birth. Women are vulnerable creatures, unless we appreciate our strengths and weaknesses and focus on our goal, we will be used to trend and that's it.
Remember it's a political season and everyone wants to be seen to care for votes. As a woman, you should have your calender set and have priorities in life. Some of these police recruits are young, naive and lack exposure but at least they went through high school and primary school where boys and girls mix freely.
When they get to the training centre, despite the hormones now skyrocketing at their age, they should carry two things in their head, discipline and self control to avoid loosing the rare opportunity many wished for.Remember some pay for it dearly.
We will blame the systems all we want, but let's teach our young girls to understand themselves, take opportunities seriously and have clear priorities in life. Children are a Blessing, Men are good creatures, at least they activate women's ovaries, but building a systematic future is what a woman should be trained to practice before being released to the world.
In terms of pregnancy, God decided women to carry all the evidence, "mimba haifichiki." It will show up at some point either physically, emotionally or even verbally. Let's choose our hard ladies, self control or other controls, after that pass out, we can even have quadruplets.
You can't fight the system, and if we have to, remember you might not be the immediate beneficiary, maybe the future generation. So, be cautious now so that you don't lose your opportunity and probably your money.
Also, let's consider and have mercy for our parents/guardians who try very hard to ensure us the youth secure atleast some education, and some decent job before we stabilize to make more informed decisions. Should we say here is practice of "Gender Equality Through Discipline." Ladies we need PAWA......
