BRANDING STEPS 001
KEEP THE PROACTIVE STANCE IN EVERY DIALOG .
1. USE A SMILE TO COVER YOUR THINKING TIME
I don't know if you've noticed that some people will use a simple smile for a few seconds before answering the reporters' difficult questions. That time is not only to increase friendliness but also to give them more time to think through the answers.
Therefore, we can take advantage of smiles to take more time to think, giving the other person the impression of confidence and composure.
2. REPEATING THE MAIN POINT IN THE QUESTION
When you do not know how to answer the other person and what to answer correctly, you can repeat the keyword in their sentence. That way, the other person will sometimes be able to give some explanation, or they will say something more to provide you with more time to think about your following answer.
3. PARTICIPATE IN SOME DEBATE CONTESTS, OR TRY TO COMMUNICATE WITH MORE PEOPLE
The human ability to improvise forms in the process of communicating with others. When two people's minds meet, our brains will have to work faster. Learning how to communicate smoothly is a long cumulative process.
4. DON'T SPEND YOUR TIME PRETENDING TO UNDERSTAND SOMETHING
Having the courage to admit that you do not understand what they are saying and maintaining a humble attitude toward learning will indirectly create more topics for you.
Or, you can ask the other person to repeat it: "Can you repeat it more specifically? I don't understand what you want to say".
5. USE TRANSITIONS
"Although…but…"… using these phrases will give us more time to think and organize what we want to say.
6. TAKE YOUR TIME TO REHEARSE
Considering possible situations, thinking of answers, coming up with reasonable solutions, etc., is an excellent way to prepare for your presentations.
If you need to prepare for a job interview, prepare answers to questions such as: "Why did you leave your old company?", "Why did you choose our company?"… will come in handy. Be prepared with a series of questions to deal with in the best way.
7. WATCHING SOME FAMOUS TALKS
Witnessing the thinking of good people is also a way to improve your thinking ability. Watch them to understand how the views and perceptions of famous speakers differ from your own.
8. WHEN EMOTIONS ARE NOT STABLE, DON'T STUBBORN ABOUT ARGUING.
When emotions are not stable, it is easy for people to lose control and utter words that should not be said. At this point, it is better to " stay silent" than to argue. Take a deep breath to calm yourself down and continue the discussion later.
