In overhead lines,we refer this pole as corner pole ,but another version of humans call it section pole...the "conductors" running from top to bottom are referred to as guy wire,their work is to support line load and they are used where line construction changes direction (any slight angle )they have their brother called guy pole,guy wire are preferred professionally,you use guy poles where there's limitations of using guy wire since they are installed on opposite sides of the main pole when required...now I know
