MEANING OF LOC AND LCO IN HAIR SKINCARE..
LOC and LCO are two popular moisturizing methods used in natural hair care, especially for dry or textured hair like 4C hair. They stand for the order in which you apply products to retain moisture and prevent breakage.
🔸 LOC Method – Liquid / Oil / Cream
L – Liquid: Water or a water-based leave-in conditioner to hydrate the hair.
O – Oil: Natural oil (like coconut, olive, or our Claritta’s AfroGlow) to seal in the moisture.
C – Cream: A moisturizing cream or butter to further lock in hydration and nourish.
