Dear member it's disappointing and illegal that the chairman Mr Nicholas Kenya wants to stay in the office against the law of the co-operatives .
Since he was elected 3years ago he has not done the following.
1: he has not called any AGM and he has avoided it by calling only indoors meeting with treasurer and the improperly elected co-dinator who was not elected by member in the AGM.
2: chairman Kenya has dis regarded the members power by not involving the management committee and executive committee in decision making hence rendering any decision he and his three kangaroo members invalid and not representing the voice of mwingi Artisanl member.
3: he has deliberately ignored and disregarded the elected senior members by not inviting them in the meeting or by avoiding to call complete committee to discuss and resolute on matters of co-operative .
Eg he has not been holding secret meeting without the voice of members like the founder member of the co-operative and current county representative Mr. Bonface kinganga and he has held secret meeting without the secretary madam jedidah and the vice chairman Mr munyoki.
These has violated the co-operative act in Kenyan law .
And he is not fit to continue to be the chairman of the co-operative of mwingi Artisanl miners .
The law allows any member to call an AGM upon issuing a public not of 14days .
Members of mwingi Artisanl miners therefore led by the county representative , vice chairman and secretary madam jedidah therefore issue a public notice to all members that we shall have an AGM on 29th July 2026.

1: Discuss the conduct of the chairman and treasurer contrary to co-operative act and there after election new chairman and treasurer
2: audit the co-operative account
3:get the financial statement of the co-operative financial status ,
4: budget 2026/2026
NB we advice members unless they get the invitation from co-operative secretary they elected should not attend any secret meetings by chairman and treasurer without secretary invitation and county rep knowledge or And vice chairman
