You need to understand that the end game is to be liquid for your comfortable living then pass it to your incoming generation. You're not here to suffer but you will if you don't take action. Old ways of making money are getting phased out and businesses are shutting down by the day.

Everything out here is risky even breathing is risky that one wrong move it's goodnight forever.

Do your bills ask if you made money ethically or unethically? Do you just believe your member of parliament is living off their salaries alone? Start changing your narrative.

Just don't realise too late you could have taken the leap but you were terrified of the unknown.

Pull your kids and grandkids closer start introducing them to such columns, speak to them about investing & financial markets. Generational wealth creation and preservation should start with you to them.

Corporate life requires an ass-licking skillset I simply wasn't born with. I visit offices and keep seeing how 30s, 40s, 50s & 60yr olds act in a corporate setting and is utterly ridiculous.

The pretence and hierarchy that goes on there is just disturbing; all for what? Paycheck!! despite the disrespect and burnout that you only look forward to Friday evenings lock yourself in the house binge Netflix till Monday for the same cycle.

Some have even forgotten what it means or how to have fun. Some can't even remember the last time they did something magical for themselves.

All you do is work, home, church (which is another scam full of brainwashing pastors waiting for your money. You also have to lick their butt cheeks for them to pray and bless you as if you don't have a mouth)

You have to pretend to be a good person for your remuneration to be dispersed at the end of the month. If you stand up for injustices you're afraid you'll be sacked. Damn!! How is that living???

There are the few who were meant to escape and wake-up while the majority were meant to feed capitalism until they wear out. We all have to make the decision and pick a side. Sadly most people don't question things they will just go left when they are told to yet they are grown adults. Just Despicable

Here's a tip,as you're learning and trading, prioritising your well being is equally important and shouldn't be an option. You'll rarely see me on charts everyday. If I'm not doing classes with my mentees, I'm out travelling or playing some sports because I prioritise my own life. I come first in my life anything else is secondary.

Wild animals don't get depressed in nature. They get depressed in captivity. Think about where you spend most of your time. Either at work or home and sometimes it takes a toll on you. You don't deserve that.

Take a sticky note write the reasons you want to be a trader then stick it on your trading desk or laptop. Everyday read it to yourself then sit down and do your part on the charts. If it's greed affecting you, kill it, if it's analysis, start over, if it's psychology, try keeping calm and trade when necessary. If it's impatience, stay away from charts abit you'll come back to find setups waiting for you. Work on trading less.

Every month I must go somewhere to explore or just hang out. That prevents me from over-trading and messing what I've built for 7yrs. I have running trades that pay for my trips and activities. I'm always looking forward to something as my motivation,already booked flights and destinations till December just waiting for departure reminders

Trading is that job whereby cracking it unlocks another dimension that you've never imagined exists. You're only seeing the fruits and the rewards now but 8yrs ago I was somewhere different. You need to hold on and endure the pain while enjoying the process.

You all have ambitions in life and they can't be similar to mine that's why I'm my own man I do what makes sense to me not to others or try to please anyone by going with the crowd. I share my real life stories and experiences because I was you once but I chose to weather the storm and it was worth it

Start prioritising yourselves. You're the only one who can remove yourself from the block. Building and preserving wealth doesn't need a crowd it takes one crazy person who doesn't give a f**k about what people say about them. Good or bad they'll still talk about you be you anyway. Be hungry and go getters. Talk less but act more. Be proud to be the first trader in your bloodline. Don't give into fear that the system has given you.

Trade until your bank starts enticing you with such texts. Then you'll know you've officially made it past the finish line. What you learnt late, teach it to your kids early.

A lesson on how many wealthy people live. They are worth billions but not liquid cash. It's all in what they own and their stocks. If they declare income it'll be subject to 40% taxation so they avoid that.

Private equities/banks contacts them to offer liquid cash/loan as their income. They'll buy appreciating assets and whatever they want. The profits coming from those assets, pays the loan and interest. They keep that cycle going. Say you make $1000 will you want $400 to be taxed? Absolutely not!!

Take for instance my bank keeps sending me this text that I qualify for such amount. I take it, buy appreciating asset like art with a quarter of it, live off the balance, you can travel with it or just have fun then the cycle continues. You won't be taxed on that loan given once you've built a good rapport with the bank, you'll be offered more liquid cash.

So in theory and on paper, I don't have money but if you flip it, life is smooth. That's tax avoidance which is legal. Tax evation is the illegal bit. You act poor but you're wealthy. Your money is just working for you and appreciating.

Lessons that you weren't taught in high-school or campus you're learning it as a working adult. That's why creating and preserving wealth for most of us Africans is still a challenge.
