Our 3rd roots of knowledge workshop KNOW YOUR HERBS will be on 31st May 2025. THEME:- ALL THINGS MINTY Most people know about Mentha (Peppermint and spearmint) and Salvia (Sage) species, but there are 7,000 species in this mint family. Come join us on 31st May to explore and learn about these versatile plants from this unique family and how to use them. We will also discuss the ant-malarial plant Arthamisia (wormwood) and its uses. We shall discuss - Baobab Powder - Moringa Powder - Milk Kefir - ⁠Spirulina - ⁠Diatomaceous Earth - ⁠Dash of Cider Vinegar with the mother! Herbs - Oregano - Pot Marjoram - Black pepper in a chapati We are worried about our African violets population please bring us leaves and a photo of flowers if you have any.

The Workshop is for registered participants only. We have limited slots that will be filled on first come first served basis.

What an amazing approach!

Under the Nature Conservancy approach, conservation efforts aim to balance ecological preservation with the sustainable use of natural resources by local communities 🧑‍🤝‍🧑🌱

It is a two-way street where we learn from communities about their cultural practices, challenges, and their historic relationship with the environment, while they gain insights into sustainable farming, wildlife management, and skills fostering harmonious coexistence. 🤝💚
