This week, Tierranjani Africa had the privilege of facilitating the WE4D Community Outreach Programme across Kenya's Coast from Mombasa, Kilifi, to Kwale.

We connected directly with young people guiding them through career pathways into sustainable hospitality and tourism. Part of what we do is to:

Yesterday, we kicked off our WE4D Community Outreach Programme, implemented by GIZ in partnership with TUI Care Foundation. We started at Kenya Coast National Polytechnic - Former MTTI where we met young people who are ready to build careers in sustainable hospitality and tourism.

We've termed it, “𝗙𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗼𝘆𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁” programme. The participants will access:

✅ Courses in Green Housekeeping, Green Food & Beverage Service, Green Front Office Operations, and Green Food Production.
✅ Skills in workplace professionalism, sustainability practices, digital literacy, customer service, and communication skills.
✅ 2 months of practical training at selected TVETs.
✅ A minimum 1-month work placement in a hospitality or tourism business.
