Good morning
TGIF! Again…
I have said this same ‘phrase’ so many times that I have started noticing that each and every one/thing JUST has its turn. No matter what it will always come, no matter what you will always have your turn. This is so true with life and makes it look comical/ serious depending on which side of the divide you are….its either your turn or somebody else’s turn!
ION: It is the small things that lead to bigger things, whoever said ‘kidogo kidogo hujaza kibaba’ was so on point…then the Luo guy who said “Chak Achaka” put the icing on the cake!

Good morning
And so it continues…
Early bird catches the worm so they say…and an early worm gets caught…so they don’t say! Onward and forward…we hit the road back to Nairobi to continue with the thing that wrongly defines us, work! Will be back to the H county in a week or so again.
ION: China has to be paid its debt, grinding continues!

Happy Tuesday….
What is emotional intelligence? Is it the way one notices, reacts and manages all their personal feeling? I find life more and more mundane nowadays and the things that matter to me now are not traditionally what I would have considered a few years ago…is this aging or maturity or just realising that life is more than just the traditional things we have been mis-educated about?!
ION: How does one know when they have hit midlife crisis? I look at things differently now, my happiness comes first…

Good morning
Yet another Monday
Over the years I have realised that we at times take things too serious and make a mistake to concentrate on ‘big’ things at the expense of smaller things that matter, we have been wrongly taught to look outside while we have a wealth of resources inside. At whatever level, manage what you have inside before seeking ‘more’ outside for you will end up loosing both. ION: I have set out to create a million shilling portfolio from proceeds of passive earnings that one wouldn’t even imagine can do that….

Good morning
Not a good morning at all…
We as Africans are so used to greetings that the meaning eludes us, we will gladly respond to “good morning” with “good morning” even when there’s nothing good about the morning. Dealing with hospital issues involving a parent is one of the hardest things one can go through.
ION: Spending time and creating memories with your children is the best therapy you can get…these are some of the benefits of having children that’s not mentioned often!

Nyama Nyama Nyama?! Ya Kasongo? Ya Wamunyoro? Ya Sifuna?! Nyamaaaaaaaaaaaaaa….
This last few months has taught me a lot…apart from the fact that I am able to see and follow life as it unfolds every second, minute, hour, days, weeks and months….is just amazing! You used to look at a calendar hang on your walls and don’t think anything about it, now I recognize that the browner the calendar got, the more experience it displays.
ION: Being in the money biz is tricky, the unfulfilled promises can kill you…the lies and excuses!

Happy Tuesday! That was deliberate, I have to conform to fit in this judgemental society! If you know you know! After a long break from work it’s usually a big task to fit in the normal routine…last I was in the office was 6 days ago and I still don’t know how to go to the office…
ION: Please be kind to the people who work for you, they need to feel appreciated for them to work proper. Some people are naturally bad, their day will come…mungu halali!

Monday it is, new month, August! Please be kind…
As I reduce the obstacles on my way, my vision becomes clearer. Today I have to rant….some clients are just out of this world, you work and deliver above expectations then instead of being rewarded as it should, they first attempt to reduce your dues then they get excuses to delay paying you then when you push further they refuse to pay…mark you this is someone who was desperate a few days prior but now since you have made it possible for them to be paid, they start acting like a Demi God…whoever said money is evil was on point! However, I will be paid all my dues come rain come shine, only issue is time…it will take time but I will be paid 💯
ION: Please foster not to be a garbage truck…don’t carry other peoples garbage, go after your peace, it’s healthy!

Good morning
Happy Sabbath! Yesterday we held an event in our local primary school that one would dismiss as a ‘normal’ event, however we are very proud of this as it was a first of its kind, we did a career day where we brought all sorts of professionals to interact and engage with the learners, something that they have never seen or experienced. We did that for them…and the satisfaction in their faces was out of this world! ION: Today is the last day of KICHE and we are here in Dala to show up for our families, this is it for them…

So much on my mind, meanwhile the days keep counting irrespective….talking of which, how sure are we that time is the right time? Or we were just born into an existing system that we can’t challenge due to the nature of it? Humans claim to be on top of the food chain while we are so fickle we don’t even know who we are…what happens to humans when they die? You want to open that Pandora’s Box?
ION: The first message/ call you receive when you wake up sets the tone of the day!
