At the Serena Hotel in Nairobi, SPARD Africa held an ideation session on food and nutrition security.

The meeting brought together representatives from the Directorate General for International Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in The Hague, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the Kenya Agriculture Sector Network, Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology, Strathmore University, Meru University, the County Government of Laikipia, and the State Department of Livestock, Agriculture and Fisheries.

With an emphasis on livestock, agriculture, and aquaculture, the meeting's goal was to showcase results from Kenya's agri-food systems diagnostics. Additionally, it examined models, enabling variables, system architecture, and important change areas for the planned EKN Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) Program.
