Revised requirements for company registration in Kenya

The Registrar of companies in Kenya has made it mandatory that before all applications for Company registration in Kenya of Private Limited Companies, Public Limited Companies, foreign Companies, Partnerships and Sole Proprietorship are filed at the company registry, must be accompanied by the following documents:
1. Limited Companies, Private, Public and Foreign

a. Copies of Identification cards of all the Directors
b. PIN Certificate copies of all the Directors
c. Passport size photographs of all the Directors
2. Partnerships and Sole Proprietorship

a. Copies of Identification cards of the proprietor/Partners as the case may be
b. Copy of PIN of the proprietor/Partners as the case may be
c. Passport size photographs of the proprietor/Partners as the case may be
