The PS for the State Department for Investment Promotion, Abubakar Hassan Abubakar, officially launched the Foreign Investors Position Paper at the Radisson Blu, Upper Hill.
This comprehensive roadmap is the result of a powerful collaborative effort between 9 key chambers, notably the India Kenya Chamber of Commerce (IKCC), and was expertly authored by KPMG. The launch underscores our commitment to fostering a predictable, competitive, and thriving environment for international capital.

The India-Kenya Chamber of Commerce (IKCC) recently held a highly productive strategic review with H.E. Dr. Adarsh Swaika, High Commissioner of India to align priorities for the upcoming bilateral calendar.
During the session, the High Commissioner commended recent milestones in finance and trade while urging the IKCC to transition toward a sector-focused strategy by hosting monthly specialized events.
Key progress was made in the IT sector, with a dedicated committee formed to lead an upcoming event within three months, alongside discussions on expanding India’s footprint in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.
We remain committed to strengthening our economic partnership through initiatives like the upcoming Foreign Investors Position Paper (FIPP) and the India–Africa Forum ensuring India’s competitive edge in the Kenyan market is supported by robust local collaboration.
